change of plans for the tau warrioir!

SO it turns out this whole body might be scrap! so it might get tossed or recovered? and be used for a sentinel conversion I was planning for the future thats going to happen! I was going to use a battle suit from the three pack, but might not waste it and just use this chest instead! if its recoverable?

Nevermind the strange head in the photo!

Well heres to getting to contact the staff of gw! the problem: the two vent plastic parts are so bent it doesn't line up and their impossible to force, I've heated them up with water and clamped them and glued them three times, but keeps separating as the glue refuses to hold against that much force, and the glue is damaging the plastic! the space is too large to green stuff and would look considerably unnatural! hopefully they can come through an send me the three new peices! fingers crossed!

Let me say this is only ever the second problem I've had with gw products,  two, of about 5 thousand dollars worth of purchases, one was missing back packs they came through for me on instantly, with a whole new box set for the wife! amazing

and THIS tau crisis battle suit, yep everything else all my blood angels, space wolves, Danielles chaos, our orks from assault on black reach and even dark vengeance, all the work i've done for clients the box sets have been perfect! so to find fault in their products is extremely rare, and normally little imperfections can be fixed, you always here of guys getting bent swords and telecoms, bend it back it breaks, it can be glued. sadly there does sometimes occur big flaws, but again its extremely rare in anything gw produces, this model is from 2001 as the sprues says and easily could have sat under a shelf for 5 years under a lamp and slowly warped over time!

But regardless hopefully the guys on the Warhammer 40k facebook forum might have some insight! but i'll certainly be giving games workshop a call!

Apologies for the Delays in our unboxing posts! reviews! and tutorials not being posted as we are swamped here at Chimera Miniatures!
