SPACEMARINE CAPTAIN: Converted to Horus Heresy Imperial Fist Sgt!

I purchased this guy Recently from my FLGS J&B books, Which is a store I highly recommend! 

Heres the miniature on the sprue!:

TO get him TO a Heresy Standard will be difficult and require mucho bits and parts removal, Swapping, and parts reposition! Which I'm thankful I have more of the MKIV add on kits parts!

Also I'll be building him an extended Ripper Blade

I'll be turning him into a simple veteran sgt, for my Command squad, built to match the MKIV standard bearer command squad from FW:

without further ado here he is completed!:

He just need soome clean up and then will be ready to paint!

HORUS HERESY IMPERIAL FISTS Part 1: The end of the heresy! Imperial fists vox caster and SGT!

My three Horus heresy Imperial fists: made from Gw Spacemarine parts, with the ForgeWorld MKIV add on kits! with Mk II shoulder pads (I believe!). These are my test minis to attempt some techniques, such as the Hairspray chipping technique! As well as to see how I feel about painting Imperial fists! Which I don't think I'm gonna mind painting at least a thousand points of these bad boys, if not more

SO the Heresy Begins...

Last night (march 12th) I began them: I Primed them black, and then followed up by:

Spraying them brown (which i should have done a mix between browns reds and silvers): 

After the Mournfang brown coat I sprayed the hairspray via the airbrush: regardless of the type you use I recommend using a ventilator and doing this in a well ventilated room, as its nauseous as hell

At the same Time as Spraying these three IFs I also sprayed up him: The Horus Heresy White Scar: Captain Usarion Khan

His Green stuff Japanese Style banner is being done separate as its going to have lots of freehand!

Finally I did the Flash Gitz yellow (which is not the yellow I would have preferred, or will likely end up using) base coat over top:

Could very easily be ANGRY MAHWEENS!

Sons of Medusa Current W.I.P. Photo op

Chimera Miniatures is proud to Show case Where I`m at currently with my Sons of Medusa army!:

All the Medusans who have actually got some paint on them!

I`m actually Fairly happy with how the Tech-librarian cyborgs face is turning out, Its suppose to somewhat resemble this:

Dreadnought: Verrus Vainous

And a photo taken about two weeks ago right after I Primed and spray base coated most of everything:

I`m fairly excited My main army of Sons of medusa point wise is roughly between 1500-2200 points heres a brief over view of what this army consists of

Chapter Master: smashf**ker Vaylun Cal (in name only)
Librarian
5 man Command Squad
and Rhino

3- 10 man Tactical squads-with Vet sgts
2-  8 man devastator squads
1- 10 man Gorgon strike squad-with Vet sgt

1: Dreadnought

3 bikers

1 speeder

Still need loads more!

I currently have the three bikes and 35 guys being stripped to be rebuilt and painted for my Sons of Medusa, and as you read this I`m building my Ten man strike squad (minus 4 who are already built-ish)

Also on Chimera Miniatures painting table is tons of my wifes chaos, a Single Carcharodon Model, A white scars test model for a future commission, as well as a W.I.P death rider Ulysses and Mount Zeus (winged Pegasus) to act as a biker Sgt for my future scout bikers for my SONS of MEDUSA!

Heres a another W.I.P shot but of my Wifes Hellbrute!

All her chaos (other then her Cultis-Renegade siege of Vraks Guard) Will have lava bases

SONS OF MEDUSA: More work on Captain (veteran sgt) PERSEUS! and much much more!

Hi everyone been plugging away on my SONS OF MEDUSA army!

Heres Perseus in all his glory without his hair:

The motivation for adding hair came form the fact that as a kid, when I seen the original clash of the titans (not the new remake which was a whole lot of meh), he had long curly hair, so I decided to go sorta with hair and without, What? haha I decided on a comb over!

And as soon as I thought comb-over the first image that popped in my head was the Inquisitor from the PS3 spacemarine video game!:

the praetor head also has some of the scaring to boot! just on the a posing side, and I'll be doing  a flip with a little less hair, and a little less in his face!

Heres is Perseus Finally completed with his Green stuff hair and ready to be primed and painted!

 I'm so glad I chose to do it! I'm very happy with the looks!

Rocking his comb over like he listens to heavy metal hahaha

Also today I did up sanguinary angel sanguinous shoulder pauldrons to look more like mark 4 heresy ones:

and added a plume to his mask,  The plume will be painted black and white! and the mask I'm painting half white half black to match the sons of medusa mechanus skulls, he's going to have a very Greek mosaic paint job:

The use of the Sanguinary Angel mask was inspired by Tigris of Gaul (played by one of my Favorite actors: Sven-ole Thorsen) from gladiator:

and finally the custom flame thrower/communicator Tactical marine I spent today building!

 note the custom leg!

Just needs some clean up and he's ready for priming thne paint!

Also his flamer is a guard flamer, As the Medusans scrounge and seize enemy and fallen warrior weapons

I think for a paint job he'll be all black (will be doing the chipping effect on him) like the Iron hands but with green Medusan shoulder pauldrons!
